European kettlebell championship was held in Varna (Bulgaria) 10-15 July. It was fist International kettlebell competition in this country. There were around 200 athletes from around 20 countries. Team Israel competed first time on International competition but they had a lot of good results. A lot of visitors came to watch this championship.
Most interesting was flight of long cycle in bodyweight class 95 kg. Three very strong athletes achieved similar results. Eduard Openlender (Russia) -86 reps, Eugeniy Goncharov (Kazakhstan) – 82 reps and Matia Amodio – 81 reps.
Russian team won relay race and team competition. WADA inspectors took 20 doping tests. Congratulations for all winners! World Championship will be in Dublin (Ireland) in November.
