Johann Martin is weightlifting and kettlebell lifting coach from Hamburg (Germany). He brought strong guys on European championship among youths, where they performed well and took their places on the podium.
August 27 in Hamburg, was held first championship in Germany according to the IUKL rules.
There were about 20 athletes, 11 of them came from different lands. The results are not so good, but it was the important step for development of kettlebell lifting in Germany. Competition were organized at the highest level. It made a good impression for participants and spectators, attract the press.
Now they in Germany have not a lot of good athletes to form national team for European and World championships. But we hope to see German national team on the next international championships and tournaments.
